There is no scarcity of affiliate Networks, just to the search on affiliate Networks and you get more than one can bargain for. I have been using some of the networks and found out that not all affiliate networks are equal or providing the same level of service.

From my understanding there are some basic parameters based on which you should select a network to work with.

• Communication: What is the communication level or the ease of communication, is it easy to get hold of you affiliate manager whether it be for business related or technical problem related, how readily or effectively you can get the stats about the campaign you want to promote.
• Transparency: How transparent is the transaction process from you giving them the lead and the conversion rate etc..
• Technology: How easy is it to register, search for campaigns, conversion tracking and most important reporting. In my view U.I.(User Interface) how easy it is to navigate and get the information I am looking for, some networks have way too many pop up windows still in the web 2.0.
• Payment: Ha the most important baseline, will the network pay, what is there track record, what is the frequency of payment, as we know the sooner the better. Usually it is monthly based or biweekly some networks will even pay on weekly basis for that good weekly transaction is needed.
• Referral Policy: Do we get the referral sign up bonus for sending the new affiliates, and is there any residual bonus also, I prefer lifetime of small amount.

I hope some of these points will make it easier for you to select the right network which suits your needs.

Hi Jeremy Palmer of the quityourdailyjob.com fame and the Instructor of PPCClassroom course had launched a The Black Ink Project to help people started to make money online.

In my opinion he is doing a good vey good thing by opening this project. The black Ink project starts on May 5 2008 and ends on  June 20 2008 this course in divide in 4 Main Modules with each module every week with live sessions and QA sessions at the end. Get the schedule for the black Ink Project “Project outline” .

Main modules will be presented by jeremy palmer and other successfull Internet Marketers. One of which I know is Amit Mehta of http://superaffiliatemindset.com/ he will be presenting 2 modules: “Pay Per Click Mastery” and “Outsourcing - The Key to Growth and Sustainability.”.

The Black ink Project was first started with 1000 participants intially, Is it easy to get 1000 participants in the project, I would say it is not easy but Jeremy was gracoius enough to open the black ink project to all Meaning no upfont fees, no latter fees, no other sign ups. This is a good deal but a fantastic deal.

I would recommend all the users to join The Black Ink Project, all the 1000 seats are gone, but Jeremy was recently able to get 2000 more seats through WebEx the main webinar company. I would have to see how fast 2000 free seats will be gone.

Dude where  is my google page rank? this is the question I was asking when I looked at this blog today. Now this ranking came as a bit of shocker ah maybe deep down I knew this will happen and it is not that this blog is not in the google index just that it fell from the Google PR ramp.

Well I started this blog on May 16 2007 and was very happy to write the first post and  I  wanted this blog to be  my Internet Marketing  journal or my record. With a little bit of passion and excitment and updating this blog regularly I was able to get a Google Page Rank of 3 in the first week of november heck I even wrote an article about going from Google Page Rank of 0 to 4 in one year.

Now this blog is at PR 0 which is not a pretty thing.  So in all seriousness what caused this, let me analyze this situation, and I can come to the right conclusion by being honest and then track back to the path of success, as someone said it very well “if you do not know how you went to the top, you will be back there pretty soon”

Steps I remember I took in the early days.

• Write good content on the blog regularly.
• Post valuable comments on other blogs in the same niche.
• Kept a couple of posts in the drafts.
• Kept a close watch on the Internet Marketing arena.
• Documented my money experiments
• Reached out to other bloggers.
• Made goals and made myself accountable.
• Sticked to my Goals for this blog.

If you and myself follow the above guidelines, I am sure we can get the desired results, I had written last blog post on middle of Feb 08 pretty much I screwed on my own. I can tell you that I was busy with other projects, work, family (blah, blah, blah) etc the point is to be consistent and I should post my money experiments and other projects on a more consistence basis. As I recently read this wonderful quote, GamePlan is what lets you join the race, but sticking to it will take you in the winners circle.
